Our Project Partners
A Pack A Month
A Pack A Month (APAM) is a registered Community Based Organisation with the goal of providing at least one pack of sanitary towels a month to needy girls. In addition, the nonprofit is providing life-skills mentorship that includes education on menstrual health and sexuality.
Kua Digital partners with APAM to empower underprivileged girls and women in the field of digital skills, thereby increasing their independence and employability.
One of the things that reduce cases of gender-based violence is an educated young woman. Our partnership with KUA Digital is not only meant to equip the young women with skills but secure their future and that of their babies by ensuring they get marketable skills to enable them work in the competitive environment. We also seek to assist them venture into the gig economy and online work world which cannot be possible without the basic computer skills they are getting from KUA digital. We are grateful that they considered us.
Global Hope Rescue And Rehabilitation Centre
Starting out as a small football club for youths from the streets at the outskirts of Nairobi, Kenya, the Global Hope Rescue and Rehabilitation Centre soon transformed into more permanent place for street children to be safe and receive an education. It was officially registered as a Community Based Organization in 2013.
The Global Hope Rescue and Rehabilitation Centre is Kua Digital’s first partner project. Through it we were able to empower young men and support their path toward a more self-determined life.
Since my boys started taking computer classes, I have seen a great improvement in terms of computer skills. Thanks to Kua Digital.
