We’re excited to share another milestone in Kua Digital’s journey! In March 2024, we had the privilege of delivering our first digital literacy course at our esteemed partner organisation, A Pack A Month (APAM). This event marked the official launch of our collaborative efforts to empower the young women supported by APAM.
Building on a Strong Foundation:
APAM’s dedication to holistic empowerment of young women perfectly aligns with Kua Digital’s mission. Their reach extends to 400 girls and women within the community and schools, providing them with essential sanitary products, life-skills mentorship, and educational opportunities. We are honored to contribute to their mission by integrating digital literacy training into their existing programmes.
Equipping Young Women for the Digital World:
Our first class at APAM introduced the girls to the fundamentals of computer operation and internet safety. They learned how to navigate the operating system, utilise common software programmes, and explore the online world responsibly. The enthusiasm and engagement of the young women were truly inspiring!
Digital Skills: Empowering Young Women for the Future:
Equipping girls and women with digital literacy skills empowers them in profound ways. These skills unlock a wealth of educational resources online, expand career opportunities, and allow them to connect and network globally. The knowledge gained through this course will equip the young women at APAM to become active participants in the digital age.
